Tapas is the quintessential Spanish experience. They are little portions of food made to be shared. Tapas, Spain's gift to the culinary world, is now a world wide phenomenon and a national pastime in Spain.

The word Tapas comes from the Spanish verb "Taper" which means to cover, and the first Tapas was a slice of ham served on top of a sherry glass, reportedly to keep the flies away, this soon became other foods on a small plate and a tradition was born.

Sangria takes this tradition and expands the reach to a more diverse palate. Latino Tapas cover a large range, spicy or subtle, meaty or light. The taste are as varied as the countries from which they hail. From Cuban black bean soup, and Peruvian Cerviche to the sensational Argentine Steak or Spanish Paella there is a broad choice to be sampled and shared.

Of course there is the Sangria… From its humble roots in Spain, Sangria has grown to become a popular, refreshing party drink around the world.
